How do I get started?
Talk to our AI on WhatsApp. It answers your questions and books a call with our team. We take on a handful of new businesses each month.
Who sets it up and keeps it right?
We do. We train the AI on your business and test it, and you check it before it goes live. When your services or prices change, tell us and we update it.
Do I have to tidy my data first?
No. Send us what you have, such as price lists, spreadsheets and old chats, and we organise it.
Do I need to build flows or write prompts?
No. You tell us how you work, and we set it up. You won't see a flow builder.
Trust
What if it says something wrong?
It answers only from your own services, prices and FAQs. If it doesn't have the answer, it asks your team instead of guessing. If an answer is wrong, tell us and we fix it.

Will it sound robotic to my customers?
No. It replies in a natural tone that fits your business, not a button menu. When it isn't sure, it passes the chat to your team.
When does a person take over?
We agree with you which questions the AI handles. Anything outside that, or anything that needs a decision, goes to your team. When one of your staff replies, the AI steps back.
Can I keep my number and the WhatsApp Business app?
Yes. You keep your number, and you can keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone. Old chats and group chats stay in the app. New one-to-one customer chats come into chatavocado.
What are WhatsApp's message fees?
Meta charges for each delivered WhatsApp message, based on the message type and your customer's country. You pay Meta's published rates, and we add no markup.
What it covers
Which channels does it work on?
WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, LINE, Telegram, email and web chat. Most businesses start with WhatsApp and add other channels once that's working.
Does it reply in Malay or Chinese?
Yes. It replies in the language your customer writes in, including English, Malay and Chinese.
How is this different from chatbot software?
A chatbot answers the message, then the work comes back to you. We also book the job, follow up quiet customers and get the invoice ready for you to check, and we set it all up.
Is chatavocado a CRM or an ERP?
Both, with AI on top. It holds your customers, chats and bookings, plus jobs, invoices and payments. It isn't accounting software, so it connects to Xero or QuickBooks.
Cost and commitment
What does it cost beyond the plan?
No setup fee, including connecting your systems. Some connections, like Xero or QuickBooks, add a monthly fee. WhatsApp message fees are charged at Meta's rates with no markup. We confirm every cost first.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, 6 months, so there's time to set it up properly and show results. After that, you can cancel anytime.
What's the difference between paying yearly and monthly?
The work is the same. Yearly costs less per month because you pay 12 months upfront. You can start monthly and switch to yearly later.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime, and we handle the switch for you.
Is my business big enough?
It's built for service businesses with 5 or more staff. If you're smaller, message us and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it.
What if it isn't working for us?
Before we start, we tell you plainly what AI can and can't do for your business. If we don't think we can meet your goals, we won't take it on.
Your data
Will my data stay private?
Yes. Anything non-public you share stays confidential. It isn't shown to other customers or used for anything except running your service.
Who owns the data, and can I get it out?
You do, and our terms say so. You can export your tables to CSV from the app at any time, not only when you leave.
