What a provider markup adds

Meta charges per template message. For Singapore numbers, Meta's list rate is S$0.0205 for utility messages and S$0.0937 for marketing messages.

A provider may add a margin to Meta’s rate. Ask for the breakdown if the invoice shows one combined per-message charge.

For example, a S$0.02 markup on 10,000 messages adds S$200. Ask what any additional fee covers.

How the plan and message fees differ

chatavocado charges a monthly plan. Seed starts at $199/mo, billed yearly. Message fees pass through at cost, so higher message volume increases Meta's charge without adding a chatavocado per-message margin. Your plan is priced separately for the work and support included.

Use a recent invoice with the per-message line items.

1. Open the invoice breakdown.
2. Find the per-message charges. Utility and marketing should be listed separately. If they're blended into one number, ask your provider for the breakdown. You're entitled to it.
3. Compare each rate to Meta's published rate card. Meta lists per-message prices by country on its official pricing page.

If your rate differs from Meta's rate, ask your provider to explain the gap. It may be markup, currency conversion, tax, or another disclosed fee. We keep Meta's current Singapore rates in one place if you want the numbers side by side.

If the rates match, there is no difference to investigate on that line item.
