What is a dynamic PayNow QR code?
It's a PayNow QR code made for one payment. It carries your UEN or mobile number, the amount and a reference. Your customer scans it and checks the details instead of typing them.
Should I use my UEN or my mobile number?
Use your UEN if PayNow is set up on your business bank account. Use a mobile number if payments go to an account linked to that number. Your customer's banking app shows the name registered with PayNow.
Why lock the amount?
With the amount locked, the payer's banking app shows it but doesn't let them change it. You get the exact amount on the invoice. Let the payer change it for deposits or open amounts.
Which apps can scan it?
Any Singapore bank app that supports PayNow can scan it. Test it with a small amount from your own banking app before you share it.
