What to put on a quotation

A quotation tells the customer what you'll do, what it costs and how long the price holds. A clear one saves a round of questions on WhatsApp before they say yes.

Your business details: name, contact number, and your UEN in Singapore or registration number in Malaysia.
The customer: their name, address if the job is on site, and who to contact.
A quotation number and date: so you can find it again when the customer replies.
How long the price is valid: 14 or 30 days is common for service jobs.
Each item with quantity and price: the tool works out each line and the total.
GST or SST, only if you're registered: the tool shows the total before tax, the tax and the total.
Your terms: deposit, when payment is due, and anything the price doesn't cover.

Is this quotation template free?

Yes. There's no signup and no watermark. You can switch off the small chatavocado line at the bottom of the PDF.

Can I turn the quotation into an invoice?

Yes. After you download, tap Turn into invoice. The invoice page opens with the same customer and items, and the quotation number as the reference.

Should I add GST or SST to my quotation?

Only if your business is registered for it. In Singapore, choose Add GST 9% if you're GST-registered, or No GST if you're not. In Malaysia, add service tax or sales tax only if you're SST-registered, at the rate for what you sell.

Can I get this as a Word or Excel file?

No, it makes a PDF. Your business details are saved on this device, so next time you only add the customer and items.

Where are my details stored?

Everything stays in your browser. After you download, your business details are remembered on this device so the next quotation is faster. Customer details and items are never saved, and you can clear the saved details at any time.

Can I write my quotation in Chinese?

Yes. If your quotation has Chinese text or emoji, the tool opens your browser print window instead of downloading straight away. Choose Save as PDF to keep it.
